ORDERING, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Ordering:

What are your accepted methods of payment?

  • Exquisite Wedding Favors accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit card payments, as well as payments made with a PayPal account.

What forms of currency do you accept?

  • All prices for products on the exquisiteweddingfavors.com website are quoted in US($) Dollars.  We do not accept international currencies at this time.

Do you charge sales tax?

  • Orders shipped to destinations within New York State are subject to 8.625% sales tax.

Are online transactions secure?

  • ExquisiteWeddingFavors.com assures that all transaction conducted online are completely secure.  Our website uses secure socket layer (SSL) to encrypt all of your personal information.  We use strong security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and/or alternation of your information once it is in our records.  Please read our security and privacy policy for details.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

  • For the majority of products, there is no minimum quantity requirement. Some exceptions do apply, most notably to personalized & edible items, handcrafted items and items sold as a set. Please refer to the product description for additional information.

Do you offer samples?

  • We work hard to provide detailed products descriptions and clear product images, but understand that you may still wish to order samples. You can order most of our favors in quantities of 1, with the exception of personalized items, edible items or items sold as a set. You will be charged the unit price of the product sample(s), plus shipping & handling and sate sales tax, if applicable.

Order Updates, Tracking & Shipping:

How do I check the status of my order?

  • To check on the status of your order, please visit the order status page. You will be asked to enter the order number and billing email address to retreive the status of your order.  You may also track your order directly from the shipping website, once a tracking number has been generated. While UPS is our preferred shipper, some items (such as edible & chocolate items) may be shipped utilizing a different shipping method. You may also email us at customercare@exquisiteweddingfavors.com Please include your name and order number in the email. We will respond to email inquiries withing 2 business days.

What are my shipping options?

  • UPS is our preferred shipper and for most locations, UPS offers Ground, 3-Day, 2nd-Day Air and Next Day Air service.  To calculate shipping costs to your location, simply add the product and quantity you wish to purchase to your shopping cart and use the shipping estimator tool. As actual freight charges are determined upon shipping, orders that weigh 50 pounds or more may be subject to a freight surcharge that cannot be calculated at checkout. Exquisite Wedding Favors will contact you prior to shipping your order to confirm these additional charges.

Shipping on Chocolate & Edible items:

  • IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CHOOSE OVERNIGHT DELIVERY FOR ANY ORDER CONTAINING CHOCOLATE OR PERISHABLE ITEMS. Exquisite Wedding Favors also offers the option to purchase ice packs for certain chocolate items and it is highly suggested that you choose this option, especially if the items are being shipping to warm weather destinations (65˚ or higher). Please be aware that orders for CHOCOLATE items will only ship Monday-Thursday during April through October. Exquisite Wedding Favors WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for melted chocolate items due to weather, carrier delays or incorrect shipping information.

Do you ship internationally?

  • Exquisite Wedding Favors will ship to any location where UPS delivers within the United States and Canada. Orders that are shipping outside the contiguous 48 states may require up to 5-7 additional business days to process, in addition to standard processing time. Order processing DOES NOT include shipping time. EXQUISITE WEDDING FAVORS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DUTIES, TAXES, AND BROKERAGE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SHIPMENT; THESE COSTS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. ITEMS THAT ARE SHIPPED TO CANADIAN PROVINCES ARE FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED.

Do you ship to APO/AFO addresses?

  • We are unable to deliver to any forwarding services, including APO/AFO addresses at this time.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

  • We are unable to deliver to a Post Office Box address, as our shippers require a physical address for delivery.

When will my order ship?

  • Processing time (pulling and packaging your order & personalization, if requested or required) plus shipping time equals delivery time. Each order is processed within 3-5 business days. For personalized & customized items, production times could be longer, usually between 10-14 business days and sometimes up to 21 business days for complex orders. Our product descriptions provide additional information on production, so be sure to check before ordering. Please note that in order to provide you with the widest selection of products, we use additional vendors for some of the items on our website, so you may receive multiple packages for one order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

  • Each product on our website has a specific processing time. Processing times do not include shipping transit time. For example, a product with a 1-3 business day processing time, if ordered on Monday with 2nd Day Air shipping, will arrive on Thursday at the earliest and the following Monday at the latest. Please note that weekends and holidays DO NOT COUNT as business days.

Can I place a "RUSH" on my order?

  • We will do our best to ensure that your order ships in time for your event. Rush service for some personalized items is offered at an additional fee. We also offer UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day & 3-Day expedited shipping (3-Day Services in only available with the 48 contiguous states). Please contact us at customercare@exquisiteweddingfavors.com or call us at 1-877-378-8009 if you need to place a RUSH on a personalized item and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I make changes to or cancel my order?

  • You may change or cancel your order at no additional cost, as long as the order has not yet been processed. Cancellation fees may apply, depending upon the item. Please contact us at customercare@exquisiteweddingfavors.com or call us at 1-877-378-8009 for specific inquiries.

What if my order is undeliverable?

  • If the shipper is unable to deliver your order due to an incorrect address, the order will be returned to us. The sender is responsible for any reshipping fees charge by our shipper to redeliver the package.

Returns & Exchanges:

What is your return and exchange policy?

  • We are confident that you will be happy with the quality of our products. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the products to us for a refund. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). We will not accept returned merchandise without and RA#.
     
  • Once the returned merchandise has been received, we will refund your payment, less any shipping charges (shipping charges are non-refundable).
     
  • Please send products back in their original form and packaging. Returned merchandise must be received within 14 days from the date you received your RA#. We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not meet these conditions.
     
  • Please note that some products are not eligible for return. These include ALL personalized items, edible, perishable, sample, clearance and special order items. Crystal bouquet jewelry and cake jewelry is FINAL SALE and cannot be returned. Handcrafted items and items with personalized ribbon are considered SPECIAL ORDER and cannot be returned. ALL RETURNS ON MIDORI RIBBON PRODUCTS ARE SUBJECT TO A 20% RESTOCKING FEE. ITEMS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES ARE FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED.
     
  • The customer is responsible for shipping. We do not refund shipping charges. No credit is given for lost return packages and non-returnable items (personalized, edible & special order) that are returned to us will not be shipped back to the sender nor credited to their account. We strongly recommend that you use double check your shipping information prior to checkout.
     
  • We will not accept returns on any merchandise 30 days or more from the date it was received by the customer, regardless of whether an RA# was issued.

How long before I receive my refund?

  • Once we receive your returned items and inspect them, you will receive an email confirming the credit amount, which should appear on your credit card or PayPal account within 3-5 business days. Please allow adequate time for your financial institution to process the transaction.

Do you charge a restocking fee?

  • Returned items for which we issued an RA# will not be charged a restocking fee if the merchandise is received withing 14 business days of issuing the RA#. Items received after 14 days, but less than 30 days, with an RA# will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE IMPOSE A 20% RESTOCKING FEE ON ALL RETURNS ON MIDORI RIBBON PRODUCTS REGARDLESS OF WHEN THE RETURNED MERCHADISE IS RECEIVED.
     
  • PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS ON MERCHANDISE THAT HAS BEEN IN THE CUSTOMER'S POSSESSION FOR 30 DAYS OR MORE, OR MERCHANDISE RETURNED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM THE ISSUANCE OF AN RA#.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged, is missing items or is defective?

  • All claims for damaged, defective or missing products(s) must be filed with ExquisiteWeddingFavors.com within 7 business days of receiving your order. Please notify our customer service department at customercare@exquisiteweddingfavors.com to initiate a claim.
     
  • ExquisiteWeddingFavors.com is not responsible for missing packages and damaged products resulting from errors made by the shipping carrier. However, we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the appropriate party. Please keep all products in their original packaging until the claim is settled.
